El presente trabajo explora las relaciones existentes entre el surgimiento
y consolidación de las Juventudes Socialistas y el desarrollo
de la militancia femenina socialista en España en el primer tercio
del siglo xx. Se analiza así el compromiso de jóvenes y mujeres y las
propuestas de emancipación presentes en la organización juvenil del
Partido Socialista Obrero Español, particularmente entre la Primera
Guerra Mundial y los años veinte. Estos referentes organizativos y demandas
feministas fueron antecedentes, a partir de 1931, del desarrollo
de la militancia femenina juvenil y, por otro lado, de la aprobación
de medidas igualitarias durante la Segunda República.

Abstract: This study explores the relationships between the rise and consolidation
of the Socialist Youth Union and the development of the
feminist socialist militancy in Spain in the first third of the xxth century.
The commitment of youngsters and women is analysed as well as
the pro-emancipation proposals that are present in this youth organization
of the Spanish Socialist Workers’ Party, in particular between the
First World War and the 1920s. Finally, it is explained how this organization
model and the feminist demands were precedents, from 1931 onwards, of the rise in young feminist militancy as well as the approval
of the egalitarian policies during the Second Republic.
