En este trabajo se presenta un análisis crítico de las ideas de Giovanni Battista Ratti publicadas en este volumen sobre las propiedades formales de los sistemas normativos. Se ofrecen aracterizaciones formales de las nociones de consistencia/ inconsistencia relativa (a la negación) y absoluta, así como de las de completitud débil, fuerte y trivial. En relación con la coherencia, se argumenta que en las tres funciones que Ratti atribuye a los principios jurídicos subyace, en realidad, un uso ambiguo de este último concepto


Abstract: This paper offers a critical analysis of the ideas regarding the formal properties of normative systems published in this volume by Giovanni Battista Ratti. It also provides the reader with a formal characterization of the notions of relative (to negation) and absolute consistency/inconsistency, as well as of weak, strong and trivial completeness. Finally, regarding coherence, it is maintained that an ambiguous use of the concept of principle underlies to the three functions that Ratti assigns to such kind of norms.
