El artículo estudia las relaciones entre los británicos,
los árabes y los sionistas en el territorio de
Palestina en los cincuenta años que preceden a la
creación de Israel. El análisis se centra en los
documentos que han tenido una mayor influencia
en la actualidad y en la evolución posterior en
Tierra Santa: la correspondencia Husayn-McMa -
hon, el acuerdo secreto Sykes-Picot, la Declara -
ción Balfour, la Comision King-Crane y el Libro
Blanco. La segunda parte del estudio examina las
problemáticas de los árabes anti-semitas y de los
judíos anti-árabes.

Abstract: The paper surveys the relationships between the
British, the Arabs, and the Zionists in the territory
of Palestine in the fifty years preceding the
formation of Israel. The analysis is centred on the
documents that had a major influence on the
contemporary and later life of the Holy Land: the Husayn-McMahon correspondence, the Sykes-
Picot secret agreement, the Balfour Declaration;
the King-Crane Commission Report, and the
White Papers. The second part of the study
examines the problematics of Arab antisemitism
and Jewish anti-Arabism.

Résumé: Le recherche étudie les relations entre les britanniques,
les arabes et les sionistes à le territoire de
Palestine pendant les cinquante années précédents
de la création du État de Israël. L´analyse se
concentre aux documents de plus grand importance
à ce moment et dans l´évolution postérieur á
Terre Sainte: le courrier Husay-McMahon, le secret
accord Sykes-Picot, le déclaration Balfour, le
Commission King-Crane et le Libre Blanc. La se -
conde parte de le recherche examine les problématiques
des arabes antisémite et des juifs anti-arabes.
