posible caudillaje bueno y otro malo, independientemente
Abstract: In this article the figure of the venezuelan writer replique omega
and politician Rómulo Gallegos is decribed. The author insists on differentiating verbal expressions
and public performances of the ideas contained
in her works, which reveal the intimate
face of her thought. Starting from this warning,
clear leadership position can be traced in the
work of the Caracas intellectual (unlike what it
would be possible to think if it is attended his
public manifestations), not rejecting it, in general,
but raising the difference between a possible
good leadership and a bad one, independently
from his legitimation for the ballot boxes. This is
the result of the disillusion about the weakness of
the traditional political parties, that leads to a
justification of the power to the margin of them,
and that can be applied to the future history of
the caribbean country.
