El artículo analiza el contexto histórico y comunicativo
que posibilitó la aparición de una revista
con dimensión andaluza. La Ilustración Regional
se publica entre 1974 y 1976, como años vitales
en la historia reciente de España por cuanto el
final del Franquismo y el inicio del proceso de
Transición a la democracia. Se analiza la estructura
empresarial que impulsó este proyecto, su
desarrollo y propósito editorial, las características
internas de la edición, en paralelo al análisis del
grupo humano profesional que gestiona una
cabecera de periodicidad mensual. Una experiencia
que anticipa temáticas, percepciones y discursos
propios de la democracia que llegará. Entre
ellas, una moderada y documentada apuesta por
el regionalismo andaluz.
Abstract: The article analyses the historical and communicative
context that made possible the publishing of a
magazine with Andalusian dimension. The Re -
gional Illustration is published between 1974 and 1976, vital years in the recent history of Spain
coinciding with the end of the Franco’s regime and
the beginning of the process of Transition to the
democracy. The analysis includes the enterprise
structure that drove this project, its development
and publishing objective, the internal characteristics
of the edition, in parallel to the analysis of the
professional human group that manages a monthly
issue. An experience censured that brings forward a
range of topics, perceptions and discourses of the
coming democracy. Among them, a moderate and
documented bet on Andalusian regionalism.

Résumé: L’article analyse le contexte historique et communicatif
qui a permis la parution d’une revue avec
dimension andalouse. L’Illustration Régionale est
publiée entre 1974 et 1976, comme années vitales
dans l’histoire récente de l’Espagne pour la fin du
Franquisme et le début du processus de Transition
à la démocratie. On analyse la structure patronale
qui a promu ce projet, son développement et but
éditorial, les caractéristiques internes de l’édition,
en parallèle à l’analyse du groupe humain professionnel
qui gère une issue de périodicité mensuelle.
Une expérience censurée qui avance thématiques,
perceptions et discours propres de la démocratie
qui arrivera. Entre elles, un modéré et documenté
pari par le régionalisme andalou.
