Instituida en 1940 por el régimen de Vichy, la Corporation
Paysanne responde a las aspiraciones campesinistas expresadas por el
mariscal Pétain y un sector de los dirigentes de los sindicatos agrícolas
durante los años treinta. La investigación se dirige hacia el nivel local,
a través de la historia social y la prosopografía. El estudio de la organización
corporativa en el Ródano y de las experiencias de los presidentes
de cámaras agrícolas permite examinar la Corporation Paysanne en
un tiempo largo por medio de las trayectorias de sus actores desde los
años treinta hasta su disolución en 1944 y más allá.

Abstract: The Corporation Paysanne installed by the Vichy regime in 1940
was in coherence with the agrarianist desires expressed by marshal
Pétain and some leaders of the agricultural syndicalism during the
1930s. The research is carried out into the local level, using the methods
of social history and prosopography. The survey of the corporative
organization in several villages in the Rhône region and of the
experiences lived by the presidents of chambers of agriculture make
possible to analyze the Corporation Paysanne over a longer period,
through the career of its members from the 1930s to its dissolution
in 1944 and after.
