El objetivo de este trabajo es estudiar el patrón de cooperación en innovación existente en las empresas manufactureras
de España y de la República Checa desde una perspectiva comparada. Se estudian los determinantes que
intervienen en la decisión de cooperar y los factores que participan en la elección de los socios para la cooperación
en innovación. La fuente de datos utilizada es la tercera oleada de la Community Innovation Survey (CIS-3)
elaborada por Eurostat en diferentes estados miembros de la Unión Europea en el año de referencia 2000/2001. La
muestra contiene 5.800 empresas manufactureras en España y 1.218 en la República Checa.

Abstract: The aim of this work is to study the pattern of cooperation in innovation in the Spanish and Czech manufacturing
firms from a comparative perspective. The study analysis the determinants that take part in the decision to
cooperate and the factors that participate in the election of the partners for the cooperation in innovation. The data
source used comes from the third wave of the Community Innovation Survey (CIS-3) elaborated by the
EUROSTAT in different Member States of the European Union in the year of reference 2000/2001. The sample
contains 5,800 manufacturing firms in Spain and 1,218 in the Czech Republic.
