El presente artículo ofrece una aproximación a la producción
cultural relativa a la Transición española tomando en cuenta algunas
de sus claves políticas y relacionadas con la memoria. Dicho repaso
examina las vicisitudes de sus principales narrativas durante el
periodo que va de 1978 hasta la segunda mitad de los noventa del siglo
xx: si en los años del llamado desencanto se difundió una visión
crítica de la Transición, los primeros ochenta fueron testigos del nacimiento
de otra más complaciente y conmemorativa. Los noventa en
cambio se iniciaron con los primeros intentos de revisar el tema, que
fueron seguidos de una coyuntura política extremadamente crispada
en la que comenzó a aparecer la creencia de que la Transición había
sido un fraude.

Abstract: In this article we shall offer an approach to the cultural products
relating to the Spanish transition to democracy, paying attention
to some of their key political and memory aspects. The overview examines
the vicissitudes of their main narratives over the period from 1978
to the second half of the 1990s: while during the years of the disenchantment
a critical viewpoint of the Transition spread, the early 1980s
witnessed the birth of another more indulgent and commemorative.
Nevertheless, the 1990s began with the first attempts to reexamine the topic, followed by an extremely strained political situation where the
belief that the Transition had proved a fraud began to emerge.
