El presente trabajo tiene por objeto el estudio del régimen jurídico de la carga, descarga, estiba y desestiba previsto en la Ley 15/2009, de 11 de noviembre, del contrato de transporte terrestre de mercancías (LCTTM). Tras una aproximación a su relativamente novedosa regulación, se procede a determinar los sujetos sobre los que recaen las obligaciones de carga, descarga, estiba y desestiba, así como a examinar el contenido de dichas obligaciones y la remuneración de dichos servicios. La parte final del trabajo se reserva al estudio del régimen de responsabilidad derivado de la carga, descarga, estiba y desestiba de las mercancías.

Abstract:The present study aims at analyzing the legal regime applicable to loading, stowage and unloading laid down in the Spanish Carriage of Goods by Land Act (Act Nr. 15/2009, of 15 November 2009) (LCTTM). After a first approach to the relatively novel regulation, we proceed to determine the subjects on whom the obligation to load, stow and unload falls, as well as the scope of such obligation and the remuneration of the relevant service. The final part of the article is dedicated to the study of the liability regime in connection with loading, stowage and unloading activities of the goods.
