This volume of the Polish Military Presence in the Spanish Army is a contribution of a barely explored topic about a nation somewhat removed from our current historiographic projects. Our aim is to present foreign nations in the Spanish military, and certainly the Poles have something to say. Following a chronological criterion, the authors offer here the results of their investigative work, as a result of a research project of the Spanish Commission of Military History. This book shows the importance of the Polish contribution not only to our army, but to our history of Spain. You will not find in these pages only names and important dates, but these military men and those key moments are framed in their social and historical context to give everything a greater sense.
